The 14th of March we published a press release from Bioware on which they where announcing the beginning of a recruitment process for the development of a MMORPG. Firingsquad now had an interview with the co-CEOs of the company to ask for more informations.

The first information we had about the next World of Warcraft patch was about the incoming keyrings to hold permanently dungeon keys. Now Blizzard announced a talent revamp for the Mage class and a new high level dungeon.

DOC published an update on the production state of patch 1.23. The new stuff in this patch is mainly new towns and "large industrial and emotional center for each country". Previous production updates also said something about better graphics, but sadly I wouldn't expect too much.

The latest community update is about the incoming expansion Lost Eden. The art is almost ready but not enough to let the artist feel confident with releasing screenshots. Some pictures taken with a camera are available anyway.

Version 1.83c has been pushed on Pendragon. There is a lot of changes for the Wizard, but also something for other classes, and a lot of quests fixing. Here are the patch notes.

From the official forums we understand that "We're pleased to announce that the keyring functionality has been completed and will be in place for patch 1.11. When a player first acquires a key, they will automatically acquire a keyring that will hold permanent dungeon keys. The size of this keyring will increase as the player goes up in level -- as seen below.

Level 1-40 = 4 slots
Level 41-50 = 8 slots
Level 51-60 = 12 slots"

This is a patch day. Also Toontown, the Disney MMORPG for childrens of any age, is receiving one.

A few news from the official World of Warcraft website. First of all they published some new screenshots from The Burning Crusade. The High Level Armor Sets page has been updated and the Lead Game Designer Tom Chilton shares his toughts about talents, how to balance them and at the same time make them interesting.
